Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 28888 wrist watches news:
Hi Guys,It seems strange but one of the last messages I post on the original WTF was to announce that I was back.I've decided on a new pseudonym of Tricky Dicky. I'm sure you'll all get used to it soon. Can't wait to get back into all the banter again.I'm working long hours for a few weeks in a temporary job but I should be as regular as clockwork (pun intended) again soon. So, what did I miss?
Curious about our collective choice. Here's how I stack 'em up:1. Grand Seiko is superb fit and finish, rare and exotic. Excellent timepiece with history.2. Dress Rolex (name your model) is relatively common and, IMHO, not as well made as a Grand Seiko. Still, a cut above the rest. But the history of the brand is unbeatable - as is resale value.I can't vote yet. The Seiko styling is a tad boring - and the Rolex image thing puts me off. I have to mull this awhile.Okay, those of you who are ready cast your votes.
Are you wearing a watch with a leather strap or metal bracelet? In my case, leather strap makes my wrist sweaty. The metal bracelet is more of a summer deal for me.ArthurMore of a summer combo..More of a winter combo for me..
I am new to the forums and this is my first post. I am considering buying the 37mm 15450ST. This will be my first big watch purchase and the whole process is a bit daunting. I went to go check it out and the lady tried to sway me towards the larger 15400 (41mm). She also kept referring to the 15450 as a ladies watch. I am skinny, 6ft and have a 7 wrist. I am more of a classic guy and tend to prefer smaller watches but not too small. I also feel the AP wears slightly bigger. I have a few pics but I am newbie and haven't figured out how to post yet.My questions are: Do you think this is too small for me or men in general? Is it a ladies watch? Do any of you guys wear this model? I am just curious to get your overall thoughts. Thanks in advance.
I just bought an early 1980s DateJust as my first Rolex!I have read so much about the datejust being super durable and actually a tool watch, despite being so light and dressy.I want to wear my baby everyday......But because it is so much lighter and dainty in appearance --in comparison to some of the diver/sport watches I've worn-- I am worried about wearing it daily. But I've read the opposite...that they are supremely durable despite being light, because of the metals used, and that frankly the only difference in durability with a submariner is a heavier crown guard, heavier back case and extra/larger gaskets. Can I rock my DJ daily?Mind you, I own a landscape company. I'm not in the trenches everyday, but I am constantly in an environment where I'm around/handling equipment.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk
