Bracelet adjustment on the Seiko 5 Sport SKZ253K1
This Christmas my lovely wife added my fifth watch to my treasured collection. I have to thank kibi for his pics on the Seiko 5 Sport SKZ253K1. I had been looking at another Seiko but quickly changed my mind after seeing his great shots. Now I was hoping that I could adjust the band just like I did my Sea Shark. I actually found the perfect screwdriver and just backed out the screws. Not so with the Seiko 5. I removed the spring pin with no problem and then pushed out the first pin in the link. Naturally I saw the arrow on the inside of the bracelet. I used an upholstery needle to push it out just enough to grab the pin at the bottom. I noticed the tiny split sleeve dropped out at the top end of the link. I¡¯m thinking that I drop that sleeve in @ the top and then push the pin (with the other sleeve attached to it) back up in the opposite direction of the arrow. My problem is I think I need to squeeze the loose sleeve a bit because it keeps dropping out. Also, do use any permatex like I

long time lurker here! Finally decided to break over and get an account. I have a quick question today. I am interested in purchasing a Cartier Santos 100 XL from a work colleague who purchased the watch on ebay some time ago and has never worn it as it has been sitting in his collection box *insert envy here*. The watch is more or less flawless (see photos) and he even let me take it for a few days to wear and see how I like it. He doesn't have any papers as it was an ebay purchase and was never concerned enough to have it fully checked for authenticity by Cartier as we are located a couple hundred miles from the closest one and he pulled the back off to inspect the movement himself and was satisfied. The original seller did note that he had replaced the straps with non-OEM leather straps since apparently the buckle sort of "marries" to the strap. David Yurman watches
Hi there. Do any of you folks own a David Yurman watch? I became aware of the David Yurman brand (high end jewellery design) on trips to the US and swanky shopping malls a few years ago. The watches were too expensive for me then. I checked out the website today, just out of curiosity, and noticed that the cheapest men's watch today is around $3400. They have Swiss ETA movements, but don't specify exactly what type of movement for each model. So I'm just wondering how good they are. Any thoughts?

Went to visit a grey dealer that I just start having relationship with (bought BLNR from them). The usual suspects are on display hulk, sub nd & date, DS, SD, BLNR (still have 1 from 3 stocks previously). Daytona C hard to get boss lady said, was wearing mine so she¡¯s really jealous They¡¯re hoping to get the SS pepsi but she predicts will be really hard even for greys since the hype is really big.
