Hi all. Have any of you ever tried these? They seem interesting but I'm not so sure it would work. Here's the link:ofrei/page1226.html
...and its 104F and overcast with possible thundershowers...so after a morning of moving cattle and then sitting around bored I thought I'd try my photo (un)skills again...man watches are tough...anyways I grouped them by brand and my sons wanted their G-Shocks included...I did not do any of my vintage and left out several buried in the box...its just too danged hot out side. I bought my Seamaster (midsize chronometer blue dial, skeleton hands) in September of 2002. It was my first high end timepiece. I always loved the look of the Seamaster and decided to bite the bullitt and shell out the 1300 odd dollars at an authorized dealer. So I have had the watch for nearly 6 full years now and thought I would write my general feeling about the timepiece. For the first few years it gained about 6 seconds per day. Right at the end of the COSC parameters. It now loses about 4 seconds per day (I have never had it serviced). The biggest gripe I have with the watch is the rotating bezel. It is almost worthless because it is so difficult to grip and turn. The red tip of the second hand seems to have faded to orange. The watch does attract scratches to the bracelet. While I love the clasp, I really wish it had the fine tuning like oyster bracelets.I wish the crown was a little beefier. The lume is amazing. The watch is very rugged.I have a friend with a Submariner no date th
I am new to Panerai brand and would like to learn more about this specific model Pam 392, 42 mm watch. I am kinda clueless about this brand or this model except it look darn good in person. Can someone help me learn more about this model like when was it introduce, is there serial numbers base on year of production like Rolex, anything good or bad about this newer in house movement? Lastly, how much you think a mint condition pre-own watch worth in today market? Thanks in advance for your advices.
I finally got my Submariner back from the AD in Englewood, Colorado. I have to say that it shines like a new watch although I originally bought it in the Base Exchange in the early - mid 70's. I paid about $175.00 for it because it was a return and didn't have any box or papers. I plan to gift it to my step son in a week or so because he is the kind of man you hope your daughter will bring home from college .To complete the deal I would like to tell him the vintage of the piece and I'm hoping someone here could close the loop for me so I can tell him some of the history of it:model: 5513ser. no:6128020I served in Southern Command from mid-1970 through late 1975 and I think I bought the watch early 1970's.Thank you.Jerry Crawford.
