Breitling AB0510U0/A732-leather-brown-tang wrist watches news:
Clearly this Clerc watch has a spacey look. A lot of their more "ambitious" pieces tend to have a style that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie prop bin. This one is actually a bit more down to earth compared to what I have seen in the past. As though Clerc is calming down a bit and realizing the world is looking for more subtle avant garde style cues these days. If you make a watch that looks like a time machine - it better damn operate as one. Wow, I just realized how utterly ironic that statement was.Clerc joins the growing number of watch brands that are using silicium (silicon) in their movements. The most popular metal part to replace with silicium is the escapement. This is a small gear-like wheel that is connected to the balance wheel and is responsible for moving power to the movement. Silicium gives this part ultra high endurance and precision. The basically means that the part doesn't wear (like ever), doesn't need any lubrication, and is very consistent which leads
Boots? Check. Jacket? Check. M41A Pulse Rifle? Check. Now all that's needed is a suitable watch to aid in our alien-hunting endeavor. Fortunately enough, our review of the Seiko X Giugiaro SCED035 (worn by Sigourney Weaver in James Cameron's Aliens) can be found here and offers an in-depth look at the curious and iconic timepiece. The eye-catching SCED035, or "Ripley", is not only a rare and unique piece, but an excellent conversation starter as well. Interesting enough, the futuristic timekeeper was designed by automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, who also appropriately designed the DeLorean. With a limited production of only 3,000 pieces and a Japanese domestic release, the Seiko X Giugiaro SCED035 is able to satiate the desires of collectors and Aliens fans alike at around $350 in the U.S. That being said, let's dwell into the appropriate garb for combating the impending alien invasion.Barbour Sapper Jacket What better way to sport such a bold watch than with some equally-badass o
Hi Everyone! Finally found some time to start contributing to the forum after a six month time-out from the watch forums. I live in Hong Kong and Kenya and some would know that we had a election last year in Kenya which turned ugly, many people got displaced, killed etc. and also personal life changed somewhat, a new chapter so to speak.Anyways, during that time I stopped contributing to various forums, TZ-UK, RLT, WUS and I also sold off whatever pieces I had and started to think on what direction I wanted to carry on in this hobby. Well, being part Chinese I was brought up to believe that Rolex are the best watches just as Mercedes in the best car! So I decided to simplify my collection and stick to Rolex (and Tudor) which brings me to WTF. Hopefully, I can contribute to the forum and continue leanring from the many knowledgable folk here! Heres just a small sampling of the various watches I've owned over the past 4years:As you can see its been pretty varied and yes, I do like divers
Oscar Bodybump found something for me after we just did a deal yesterday... Luckily he accepted my return as part of a deal towards something few have ever seen in person, and I don't think many (if at all) own on this Audemars subsection. The big reveal will be tomorrow!
