Hello all, new guy here and getting the itch for a new watch soon. Well I have a Rolex, an Omega Seamaster and a few Victronix already. I'm looking for as the title states a Doxa. Unfortunately the ones I see are mainly just dive watches in the USA where I'm located. I have looked and have researched a little of their collection and seen that there are others available but not in this market. So my question is can anyone point me in the direction of a reputable dealer where I can order and purchase a non US model from?I have looked on eBay but not to comfortable with that route. Any suggestions, dealers or general direction that someone can point me to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Cheers!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi guys, So a good friend of mine made this purchase recently at an antique shop. He paid $300.00 with a chain. The guy told him it was from the 1940's. But we both have been doing some research and my gut tells me something is wrong with this watch. Anyone have any insight or knowledge that would be great!!!
After a long hiatus, I'm trying to get back into watch collecting. The only watch left in my stable is an IWC Portuguese 5001 in steel with a black dial. I used to have a 111, but sold it to fund other things. Now I'm itching to add a Panerai back to my collection. My first thought is perhaps the most obvious choice: the 372. That said, I'm feeling the itch to be a bit more adventurous. The 504 caught my eye. Generally, I prefer the base models or those with sub-seconds. I'm also biased toward in-house movements because I'm that kind of snob. Let's further assume this will be the only Panerai in my collection. What is the right choice? The 372 is close to winning out, but I wonder if it's too pedestrian to represent a manufacturer/brand known for unique special editions. Thanks!
