Breitling R4137012/G636 wrist watches news:
I've been wearing my 2225.80 to the beach just about every weekend. Do you guys think the ocean water with the little sand particles is bad for a watch (chronograph pushers)? I have noticed when I get home I have to run water over the bezel and keep turning it until all the sand gets cleaned out of it. I figured this is what this thing is built for and just try to clean it well when I get home. I wasn't sure if the sand could do damage to the gaskets under the chrono pushers. So what do you guys think?
Hello all. Longtime reader, recent registrant, first time poster. So my family in the Midwest is engaging in spring cleaning, box unpacking, box packing, attic rearranging, etc. They found an Omega Seamaster! Unfortunately, I've NEVER seen this type before. They are sending it to me, so it will probably be the end of this week before I get my hands on the piece. Unfortunately, I can't identify it from the picture they have sent. The style makes me think its from the mid-70's to 1980. I've checked numerous books, and haven't found anything resembling it at all.Can anyone help me? I'll be sure to take great looking pictures as soon as I get it and post them here. Thanks!
Ok, never owned one nor worn one, but they look really nice.. Just wanted to see if I could get your attention.. And I bet you came into this thread ready to rumble, didn't you???? Go ahead - admit it!
Hello, my name is Dave and I found these two Bulovas in Grandmas old jewelry box. I was trying to find information on them last night, and after two hours realized I was lost. I figured i would ask the pros (you) for some help. so here is my one question. Does anyone know about these watches, year, mens/womens, original bands, further info, value, worth fixing for my own enjoyment? Than you and i appreciate any help i can get- Dave
