In a studio in Tel-Aviv, the creative mind of Itay Noy conceives made-to-order timepieces that are sure to catch the eye. His latest offering ¨C displayed at Baselworld 2015 ¨C is the Itay Noy Part Time. Available in four color schemes, limited to 24 pieces each, the concept of the Itay Noy Part Time is simple: the dial is divided into two parts, one for the day, one for the night. When the day side is active (from 6am-6pm) the night side sleeps and vice versa. The temporal segments are split by a vertical line, running from 12 to 6 o'clock. At the very bottom of the dial, the series number is engraved and, at the very top, Itay Noy's name decorates the dial in his distinctive personal font.There are two separate designs, each with two color options. No anniversary of the Speedy Pro to commemorate this year. Not a single clue available on their website so what's Omega planning for April then?Let's speculate and perhaps list our desires, shall we pals?Well, there is the replacement for the 2254.50 of course. There has been much talk about this and I wonder in fact what changes Omega has in store for this much-awaited release. Thus far there has been much speculation but nothing concrete. There have been rumours of it being used in the forthcoming Bond movie but again, all is talk thus far.The coming of a new Bond movie would likely yield a limited edition or possibly two if JB does use two types of Omega. Hey, might it even be a Speedy Pro or am I stretching my imagination beyond the bounds of reality? I think we will see further developments of the cal 8500/8501. Watch crystals
CH says no one comes into his shop, so knock knock Which type of watch crystals can be polished ?I brought a watch to a shop a couple of weeks ago and he said it could not be polished because it would get too hot on the polishing wheel. So that means that there must be different types, my question is which types can be polished and is there a way to tell which type is on your watch. Also if the crystal cannot be polished and needs replacement is it better to then choose one that can be polished ? I am assuming there is a price difference between the different types, at what point would you choose the non polish type because of the value of the watch.

What does "water resistant" really mean?
I had a Citizen chrono that was stamped "Water Resistant 100M", I had it for 8 years, splashed around in the Atlantic ocean one weekend, no diving, barely submerged, and a few days later it stopped working, I though it was the battery. Took it to two jeweler¡¯s and they said water got into the case through the chrono buttons and damaged the movement, est $360.00. I said "but it say's water resistant 100m", they said unless it has screw down crowns it's not water proof, so I said "then why are some watches stamped 100m other 300m, and you can't even wash a car in them?" I gotta shrug from one jeweler, the other wanted to show a new chrono, what gives?
