- The watch is beautiful but the rubies are a bit on the pink side. Despite the pink, it shows off wonderfully and don't regret buying it for my Aunt!

Audemars Piguet 26191BC.ZZ.D002CR.01 wrist watches news:
When "Watch Radar" sent me an e-mail about their new iPhone app that is able to detect the name of a watch just by looking at the dial I was intrigued. Until now we've all had to read the name of a brand on a watch dial to know what it is - but no longer. Finally technology has come to the rescue. Using the camera on your iPhone, the Chinese made Watch Radar app takes a picture of the said watch and uses its whiz-bang technology to scan the internet and read the name for you. Wow! It even goes so far as to pull data from the net and give you some brand history. Now this is the future.Watch recognition has come a long way for sure. Those pesky luxury watch makers usually print their brand names in complicated English, even if the brands themselves aren't based in English speaking countries. No fair! Watch Radar is there to look at your Rolex and tell you that for sure, the name on the dial is Rolex. It can even tell you the model of many watches - now this is progress. At this point I in
IMO, a stunner. Worth the exorbitant price I paid.
I doubt I would part with the >$1000 cost of an original Piping Rock, so I snagged this reissue of the 1928 Yankees world championship model on eBay (BIN). Mechanical windup movement, nice shape, and only $260. The two most recent sales were $405 and $360, so I think I did alright. By the way, WTF Member Will Roseman has an original Yankees Piping Rock. seller photosI'll post my own photo in the June Arrival thread after I get the case cleaned up a bit.
Anticipation is rising daily for this, nice snipe for ?102. Seller specified solid gold, jeweller tested, but no hallmarks. Fully working, never had a chrono this old so look forward to checking out the insides and posting more pics and info when it gets here. Would appreciate any help with I.D.$(KGrHqFHJB0E63(J(c7uBP)i6eWNs!~~60_12.JPGAttachment 32015Attachment 32016Attachment 32017I am a bit cheesed at this. The guy turned up on my doorstep while I was out, gave this to my wife and skipped out. The lug wires have been snipped off (That's why the strap looks tight, he fitted 24mm strap on 20mm lugs!), the body is well hammered and shows signs of gold testing (dark areas, scratches on back of lugs and inside caseback.) Watch works, but sometimes stops when chrono is used. BTW, how do you reset these? Top button stars, bottom button stops, but thats all that happens. no reset when pressing either button.
Hey guys ¨C so I never posted the incoming thread from when I got the 44RG but this weekend I decided to bring along my 44RG to meet up with a buddy of mine who also loves the watch. As we¡¯re chatting and catching up, he surprised me and said one of his cars was out back and asked if I wanted to take my wife for a spin. It was a LP570 Performante which is basically the Spyder version of the Superleggera. I¡¯ve had a Gallardo before, but this felt totally different. A few moments later with the top down, my wife and I cruise through town, onto the highway for a bit, and came back. What a great time and it really sold me on the Spyder (I was purely a coupe guy before). Here are a few shots of the combo¡nice watch, nice car, and thanks to a great friend. Hope you all enjoy
