Bell & Ross BR01-92 wrist watches news:
As you may have saw, went to the AD to get the wife a new Datejust.. Well, picked her out one and negotiated a great price off the 'old' price.. Just couldn't pass it up Getting ready to check out I jokingly asked if he'd match that discount (over 15%! ) on one of the Rolex Sports watches. His reply, which one?? I said how about the 40mm platinum Yacht-Master (I just knew he wouldn't- I've never seen discounts over 10% here). He scrunches his face & says 'let me check'.. A few minutes later he says YES! My jaw drops. So -knowing I'll never get a new one for that price again, I instantly say yes too. Price off the 'new' prices - almost 30%!! That's the power of an AD relationship!! So - walked out with a Datejust for the missus, and another Yacht-Master for me. I still can't believe I got myself another one.. Remember - no new watches for me in '08.. Yea - so much for that!!! So here it is......Some face shots....And some clasp shots Oh, and BTW - I place all the blame
hi guys! i'm cleng from the philippines. i am running a small construction on weekdays and a freelance photographer on weekends. i'm new here in this forum. anyway, i would like to seek help regarding this hamilton watch i inherited years ago ( and literally forgot about it...) not until today when i accidentally passed by a watch store this afternoon and saw a Hamilton Khaki Sunset Watch which i really liked and planning to get it soon :) this watch was given to me by my grandmother few years back when my grandfather passed away. she told me this watch was pawned to her by their friend way way back and never got back by the original owner. i tried searching for this model but never had infos about this watch until i found this forum. it looks like it has a plastic glass, it says "HAMILTON MASTERPIECE" on the face. the color of the face is like a pale gold. you need to wind it up for it to work so i assume it has no battery. the back part says "HAMILTON" on the 6 o clock position and b
This got delivered last week but I'll spare you all the unboxing etc.26400AU forged carbon novelty.Always been a fan, always wanted one. I thought about the ceramic version for a good two or three weeks but at the end of the day I couldn't justify the price difference. (I do love ceramic though... My ceramic diver is my daily wearer)I always thought as an owner of the Ginza these two would be too similar for the same collection but after seeing it in person I believe it is an entirely different animal. It definitely wears large and in charge. One thing you don't get with ceramic is how the grain looks in sunlight and the weight is light and comfortable as forged carbon should be. Upon receiving the watch I slapped on the short strap and it fit perfectly. Quite the happy customer here !Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
(All, new to this forum and thought I'd share my Omega story for my first post here.)1995 witnessed the launch of that now famous catch phrase that was splashed most prominently across Omega's ads. For many, this may have had an influence in their purchase of an Omega and something they proudly proclaim after finally obtaining one. However, back in December of 2000, one man recalls reading that phrase with disdain as he's shopping with his wife for a matching watch set. Cindy Crawford's choice the man read the ad aloud sarcastically. Omega and Rolex... b8ah!, they'll NEVER be MY choice! uttered the budding WIS who thought he knew everything there was to being a sophisticated watch collector as he took comfort in his ability to recite the names of hallowed manufacturers that produced watches more complicated and higher in cost than either of the two aforementioned brands. What was it that so bothered this man so about these two brands? Two main factors came to mind he thought at t
Hi PAM people!I have a PAM 328 now mounted on a OEM brown aligator strap. I dont mind changing strap, but sometimes to change de buckle can be a pain.I am thinking to buy a new buckle, or a couple. Now the questions, for the OEM straps, can I put a deployant clasp on it? I know some others are thicker. If so, do you recommend it to avoid punishing the strap less? And if so, which one to get? The PAM one is quie expensive, any good ones?If you recommend the buckle, where can I get it? Best,Guillermo
