I was checking out the website of our local Sat. auction yesterday and I see this-Hummm, what have we here, should I drive the 28 miles one way to see? That's a lotta gas for me!Nah, I call up to see what table their on- I'll go up Sat. they give ya about ten minutes to check out.Shane, the owners son whose running it now says table 2 after the tool table, hang on a minute Forrest-Next thing I know he's at the case with the phone telling me- Bulova, bulova, something generic Swiss, a Harwell (check sp) benrus, looks like another swiss etc. Naming them off to me as he knows who his watch buyers are.I'll be there with a little cash and lots of knowledge for when they go choice watch!It's also nice to be dealing with someone for over 20 years, I've made some nice money off of the Foxwell Auction all these years!! AP 26320 blue dial
So after some serious thinking and haggling with my AD, I think this bad boy may be the way to go as my first AP. The Blue dial is the boutique version and looks simply exquisite. I want the 15400 but the wait could be a year or two, and I am growing to like the chrono feature.

Patek 5711 bezel change.
So I sent and email regarding a change of bezel. Just because I am one of those annoying guys that loves having a piece of mind before purchasing a watch for a worst case scenario event.Each Patek Philippe timepiece is unique, with specific numbers on its movement and case and is covered by a 2-year Product Guarantee. For these reasons, Patek Philippe will always prioritise an intervention on the specific timepiece instead of replacing it.Kindly notice, the case of the timepiece 5711/A is composed with a bezel and a middle case.The price for the bezel should be approximately CHF 850.-, unfortunately we are not allowed to communicate the price for the middle case.-------------------------------Now my question is this. Should a bezel change be enough to fix a deep dent in the case that cannot be polished off because of too much case having to be removed; or would this middle case also have to be changed?I don't see how it's possible to damage the middle case.Also, on that note.
