Here is my newest, a yellow Langley with luminous dial and earlier-style hinged Solidarity case. When I received it, the replacement crown was a bit too thick, and the hands had become skeletonized. I just had my watchmaker replace the crown and relume the hands. I think this is an old redial, but it has some character, so (after some hand-wringing), I think I'll leave it like it is. The case is in very nice shape!It joins my white one:

February 07, 2008Rolex has granted $1 million to the watchmaking and microtechnology program at Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee, which it will distribute over the course of five years.Donating to watchmaking education is nothing new for Rolex, a brand that established a $1 million, five-year grant for North Seattle Community College in Washington back in 2000, and renewed its grant in 2005.Furthermore, in 2001, Rolex established its own Lititz Watch Technicum in Pennsylvania, a nonprofit foundation that has graduated more than 50 watchmakers for the industry thus far. In addition, Rolex pledged a $1 million, five-year grant in 2004 to support the Saint Paul College watchmaking program in Minnesota.Rolex also operates the Tokyo Watch Technicum in Japan as well as the Rolex Training Centre in Mumbai, India.

A 2008 model year Omega has which 2500 movement? A,B,C,D?
I was looking to purchase a brand new in box Omega 42mm on bracelet at an awesome price. I was wondering if it contains the 2500C, 2500B, or 2500D movement?Are there any particular years that Omega modified the movement?The reason I ask is because I heard the later letter codes after the movement (ex. 2500D) are more reliable and have better technology involved.Thanks!
