Bell and Ross BR0192-CA-FIBER wrist watches news:
So it has finally happened: SevenFriday have released a new collection ¨C or series, as they like to call them ¨C?with the?SevenFriday V-Series. It is the newest addition to the family that previously contained the P- and M-Series. While its forerunners were all 47mm soft-edged squares, the case shape of the V-Series is totally different. Two left side protrusions, housing a simple-but-smart FSC (Fast Strap Change) system, change the look of this watch entirely. In the same way Star Wars got creative with the shaping of their lettered craft, this watch kind of looks like a V that has toppled to its right and just decided to stay there.Aside from the obvious shift in silhouette, the SevenFriday V-Series features a round specially hardened and anti-reflective treated domed mineral glass and a more traditionally shaped dial. This design trait goes almost unmentioned in the press release. Not because it is a small change (I personally believe it to be seismic for the brand, and potentially d
Did y'all know Seiko is 130 years old? Yes sir! And this year their US roadshow event featuring Grand Seiko watches will be celebrating that fact with some fun events. Yours truly will be at the Phoenix, Arizona event on October 14th 2011 held at Seiko's number 1 Grand Seiko dealer; Arizona Fine Time in Scottsdale. Come for the watches - stay for the food/drinks/cigars (these are also the CigarKingwatches-dealer people).Release:Grand Seiko Roadshow at Arizona Fine TimeSeiko will be bringing out a master watchmaker from their factory to assemble a Grand Seiko here in our store. This master watchmaker is one of 6 skilled enough to work on the 9R series of movements. This will be a very rare opportunity to see the magic that goes into Grand Seiko, not only in the movement, but the assembly of the entire timepiece. There will also be many of Seiko's staff in attendance for the event. This will give you a great opportunity to ask questions and hear answers direct from the source. There are m
Ticking but not keeping time 33mm stainless snap-back Sandoz manual wind.International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Chauffeurs, Warehousemen, and Helpers of America dial.Nothing spectacular, but for $1 at a market, I couldn't pass....dunno what I'll do with it, but it's kinda cool!
I've got two watches that I need some help with. The first is a Seiko that my wife got me back in the days when she was a Seiko Rep. It's a Quartz Chronograph Sports 150:The crystal is, as you can see, pretty jacked up, and I would like to replace it with, if possible, saphire. Anyone know anyone who would be able to do such a thing? The second is a watch that I'm just looking for information on. It's a Bucherer (Swiss quartz), with a non-original band. That's all I know:The only information I can get on Bucherer is Carl Bucherer, and those seem to sell for far more than the $210.00 I paid for this watch 20 years ago.Any and all assistance is appreciated...
Just started looking at APs a week ago. Needed the perfect watch to wear all day to work (casual atmosphere) and just bumming around - kids events, ball game, pool etc...I have a 1 month old platona for evenings and dressier occasions (even though it makes a great all day watch - except its missing a date!!)...After deicing on 44mm (even though 42mm is probably better for my small(er) wrist, It was a very tough decision between RG and ceramic. I finally decided on ceramic and I'm glad i did. The RG is stunning - but at its size I think its too in your face for me to wear daily. Ill just admire from afar.past watches - SS DJ, SS GMT II C, WG subcollection is only two strong - quality over quantity right?!?!Now - best place to buy a black strap with red stitching to match the hands ?how many of you swap out the pin for a deployment clasp?Anything i need to know about my new watch? Again, I'm very new to AP. I never even saw one in person before buying mine. Thanks!
