Need help-Arnex 18k ladies pocket watch
Hi everyone-hope I can find some help here! I've tried everywhere on the internet and just can't find anything out about this watch. It was my grandmother's,its an 18k Arnex-the inside front cover reads-Arnex,Swiss timing,17 jewels,18k and below that is has 0.750. 019.jpg021.jpg017.jpgAny help at all would be greatly appreciated! I've had the jeweler offer a lousy 40 bucks to melt it down,and someone else offered $150-just wanting to know what I have and what i'm dealing with.

State of the Collection-December 2008
Hey Everyone:I thought I'd share what the collection looks like today. I added two pieces this year, both GMT's. One was a Sinn 857, the other is a Ball Aviator GMT.As some of you know, my grandfather was a watchmaker so I have a few of his pieces. My wife found me the 1926 Hamilton Square for my 40th. Since I saw recently a few posts about Patek and the Aquanaut , here's my contribution.I must say that I did not like the Aquanaut nor the Nautilus 3 years ago.But your mind can change :)4 Months ago when the introduced the new 5167 I had the impression I could like that watch.I liked the dial a lot more than the previous dial.So I called my dealer and ordered one.I september 2007 I got the call. I went to his store, tried the watch ... and bought it.It's gorgeousImo you can wear it as a dress watch (with the leather strap) and as a sportswatch with the original rubber strap.The finishing is like one would expect from Patek : PERFECTThe movement is the 315 (which will be rare).Only the first 2 or 3 months they were delivered with the 315, all the others in the years to come will have the calibre 324Anyway, here are some pics
