Breitling Black Dial wrist watches news:
from the site of WTF sponsor watchprince, an interesting Omega tidbit:We routinely receive inquiries about OEM watch bands and other parts. With a few exceptions, orginal equipment is generally available only through authorized dealers of the watch in question. One of those exceptions is Omega.
Yes after about a year of waiting I finally picked up a Speedy Pro. Thanks to Fr John for his incredible paitence in answering my many queries and reviewing countless auctions. I eventually picked one up of Neil at Chronomaster. 4 months old in new condition with box and papers and remainder of 2 year warranty and a great price. Nice easy transaction. When I first joined this site about 3.5 years ago I was obsessed by the PO. Eventually I got one and I still love it. I never really understood the fuss about the Speedy. I cannot recommend the watch highly enough. Anyway enough talk - Photo's (sellers pics as I don't have my camera - you all kn
I have pictures instead of my teaser from earlier today. See below.

Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins all used Omega Speedmasters on their Apollo 11 flight, as we've told you many times. When Neil and Buzz took the lunar module down the surface, Neil left his Speedy on board because the mission timer in the module had failed, while Buzz wore his Speedy to the surface of the moon. After returning to earth, Buzz mailed his Speedy to the Smithsonian, but it was unfortunately lost or stolen in transit, never having surfaced to this day. Keep your eyes open for it!We do, however, know the reference and serial numbers of Neil¡¯s Speedy, which is in the collection of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum: reference number 105.012-65 (the first asymmetric Speedy case with crown-gua
