Breitling A25362 wrist watches news:
Hi there,I purchased an Omega DeVille prestige 18ct Gold Case watch in 1998 after the theft of my Rolex Oyster.I was going to replace the Oyster but as soon as I saw the Prestige in Goldsmith's store in Bristol (UK) I couldn't take my eyes off it.It was a total seachange from my previous timepieces; I had always gone for heavy case stainless watches like the Oyster, copying the tastes of my management colleagues (ain't we just sheep !!!). Once I had this watch on my wrist I found I needed to look at the time far more frequently than I ever had before. I also noticed that colleagues and my bosses would compliment the watch and remark on the clean, uncluttered lines and daintiness of the casing and dial. When you're a sixteen stone Welshman who spent many years as a front row Rugby Forward (For the US read 'Nose Tackle'), it's very difficult to look sophisticated and it's amazing how the right accessory to a good suit and the correct expensive tie helps !!Anyway, enough of these metaphor
Living in Ireland we have a kind of sheltered life when it comes to watches. Since joining the forum I have seen so many brands I never knew exist. So on a local irish forum a topic was made by a user with the title "Tag Heuer, Irelands ubiquitous expensive watch? " the poster was telling a story of how he was wearing his IWC Portugese and someone had said that they admired his watch, but when another mentioned a getting a Tag Carrera it received much more praise due to brand recgognition. So owners of the likes of Glashutte, Panerai and Ball and many others, is this a universal issue or just a localised one here in Ireland. How do you feel when someone with a more recognised brand gets all the ooooh's and awwww's and your more expensive and exclusive watch gets much less praise.
Hey Gents I need your help here again. I feel as though i may have made a BIG mistake. I just flipped my jumbo for the 15400OR. I haven't yet worn the 15400 besides out the dealer to my house, so i could possibly take it back and reverse the whole deal. Do you think I've made a mistake or have i just bought an equally special piece.
... and I may never go back! The PO 45.5mm fits my wrist perfectly and I like the weight of the watch on the bracelet. That's one of the things that sold me on these watch. But after several years on the S/S bracelet I got tired of the same old look so I purchased the black rubber strap with tang buckle.... L O V E I T !!!Now I think on need a blue rubber strap for my SMP!
Hi, I will be traveling through Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. I was wondering if anyone has input on where I can get the best deals out of these 3 countries. I will be visiting their capitals. Thanks!Sorry for another ignorant question but for these countries are they duty free and tax free? If they aren't tax free is there a tax refund system such as VAT refund in Europe. Thanks so much! I have never been to these places before. Would I be able to get them to budge on the sticker price by any chance?
