Breitling A13358 wrist watches news:
Just picked up a watch belonging to my wife's' grandfather. It's a SS Omega dating back to 1974 (engraved on back, presentation watch). It has no model name ie Constellation, Seamaster etc. Just got it back from the watchmaker, it had a complete makeover and is gorgeous. It has a date and has a 563 movement. Question, how in the heck do I set the date??????
My Dad received this watch from his parents for an engagement present. He got engaged in November 1949. So it is most likely from somewhere between 1947 to 1049. Unless he is confused and it was actually a wedding present (1951) or even a high school graduation gift (41?). But he is pretty sure that it was an engagement gift.Does anyone know what it is?And what about the band. It says 14kt on the clasp. Was this a standard band back then or was this some kind of an upgrade at the time?I do know why he never wore the watch though (I plan to). It is a royal pain in the ass to do the clasp with one hand!!!!IMG_5302.jpgIMG_5298.jpgIMG_5307.jpg
I LOVE the Speedmaster professional Apollo 11 35th anniversary and Limited Tokyo White dials but they are so hard to find.Does anybody know where I can buy the white dial and do a swap on a regular Speedmaster Pro?
Hi Guys, Just had a Patek strap customised to give a Berluti feel. Which do you prefer customised brown or grey?David
Anything goes. Here¡¯s my favorite. This picture was taken in the Grand Canyon after my wife and I took a helicopter ride in from Las Vegas! (Highly recommended btw)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
