I picked up my new SS GMT II this morning, Tried it on at the AD fitted nicely, then took it home boxed up. I have just put it on and find that it is tight?? I notice that the easy link is also already extended.How many links should the bracelet have?I have several rolex watches 78 GMT, 93 TT Oyster perpetual, 88 18ct Datejust on jubilee concealed clasp and did not have any problems with them, still don't. Are Rolex penny pinching on strap length?I have 8 1/4 inch wrist I can't believe I am alone in that! Do I have to buy another link?

Another" two-tone" solid 14k square engraved
Here we go again! Ebay item#350464902000 is an auction for a so called Two-Tone solid 14K Square Engraved. It has a beautiful Fluckiger Dial#10, too bad it was refinished incorrectly! It should be a Two-Tone dial. All of the hands for this dial are also incorrect. The watch is described as having a yellow gold center case, this is incorrect information as the center case would be green gold. Now for the fun part. Obviously if one had the watch in hand all you would have to do is to rub the center case with a rouge rag. A real Two-Tone will not change color, but in the Ebay venue all one has to go on is the seller's description and photos of the watch. The first two photos kind of show the bezel and center case, but the greenish color is very faint on the center case and the angles are not the best to show the difference in color. The last photo is the acid test! Compare the color of the inside surface of the center case with the color of the inside of the back. They are

Chris (docvail) over at WUS's affordable forum recently launched his owned brand, Lew & Huey. His first model is going to be a race inspired automatic chronograph, named Riccardo. Here's a render with some specs:I think it's an attractive looking chronograph at a hard to beat price (under $500). However, many seem to be put off the the brand name and/or the logo. For what it's worth, here is the story behind the name and logo:"The brand "Lew & Huey" is a phonetic spin on the Chinese Mandarin phrase 'luen huey' (輪迴), which means reincarnation or rebirth. We believe in second chances, and that every dog will have his day (hence, the dog in our logo)."For anyone that's interested, pre-orders are being taken at his website:lewandhueyHe also launched a Kickstarter if you want to back the project through that.Hopefully he can get this project off the ground. I'd love to see what he has planned next.
