A Certina club 2000 watch from the early 70's has become available locally. I can't really find out much info on it at all. Are Certina considered a decent watch ? The prices on the bay have no real consistancy for the brand at all. I am not really committed to the watch but it would do no harm to get info on their watches either way.Thanks

He got out of the Marines in the mid '50s and went to a technical school affiliated with Bradley University in Peoria, IL, to learn watch repair. He did this as a "second job" while he did his regular job for about three decades, until retirement.I don't know what I have. I have a bunch of tools. I remember him using them all my life, since I was a little kid. I don't want to just give them away; he'd kick my tail up one side and down the other if I did.
