Breitling Breitling 3227 wrist watches news:
While I started a few weeks ago, my first watch review is now up on AskMenwatches-dealer here - on the Guepard RetroSwiss watch. This is the newest venue to feature my writing and I want to first thank AskMenwatches-dealer for their gracious inclusion of my thoughts on watches. I'll be writing several AskMenwatches-dealer reviews each month. Their editorial process requires that all watches to be reviewed be confirmed by their editors. So the choice of watches to review is really a joint effort between the two of us.I will tell you a bit about AskMenwatches-dealer if you aren't familiar with it. It is a portal for all things "men." Parts of it are like a higher-brow Maxim magazine, other parts discuss issues related living, health, finance, fashion (where you'll find the watch reviews), and plenty of other topics for men of all interests, ages, and backgrounds. AskMenwatches-dealer is part of IGN Entertainment, which is part of Fox Interactive Media. I've always enjoyed their particula
Hi guys, Ive selling off some of my watch collection because Im saving up to buy a nice vintage Omega. Im looking for a 1960s full stainless steel model, 500 series movement witha beads or rice bracelet. I planning on wearing the watch, so it dosent necaccarly need to be mint. I would prefer a nice orginal dial, but i would take one with a nice refinished one. the models Im considaring are a pie-pan connie seamaster deville reagular seamaster( simarler to a datejust)I was wondering if any could give a couple ball park estimates for the watching im looking for. Also are there any good sellers to buy from online? thanks Joe
Not knowing much about watches aside from knowing what I like, I was doing some research on watches and movements and I read that one of the most popular movements, the 25 Jewel ETA 2824-2 (28,800 BPH) Automatic Movement used in low, medium and high end watches including the Rolex Tudor Submariner, Auguste Raymond, Cartier, Oris, TAG-Heuer, Tissot etc. only costs about $80.If that's accurate then where does the rest of the cost of a making a luxury watch come from?
I had some issues that kept me otherwise occupied (nothing horrible - marriage, home, job, etc. still all good), but I'm back to announce a couple of new arrivals.I made a mistake and sold my previous Maurice LaCroix Automatique Rectangulaire, but this one came up, new, for a price I couldn't resist. It's a little different than the one I had before, but I like this one better, so it worked out in the end.The second is a Tissot Ballade III Automatic. This is a great looking watch that looks far, far better in person. The guilloche dial doesn't really photograph well (particularly in stock photos...)For now, all I have is stock photos, but I'll try to get some of my own up in the near future.product_thumb.php.jpegpt6137_ss001_32e-big1_220_400.jpgpt6137-ss001-32e.jpg
I have a conundrum at the moment with my collection and looking for some advice. I¡¯m only interested in a 3 watch collection, so my current state is:- Omega Speedmaster Automatic (ref 3513.50)- Rolex Milgauss Z-Blue (ref 116400GV)- Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon (ref Q1368420)My original thinking was having one everyday watch (Omega), one nice sports watch (Milgauss), and one nice dressy-formal watch (JLC). Now I'm looking to get rid of the JLC MUT Moon because it's slightly dressy for my rotation and I don't like having things I don't use, and I feel it is a little big on my wrists, which are 6.5. I want something more versatile than a moonphase. I have 3 options right now:1. Sell it and use the funds to get a Rolex Explorer 114270 in excellent condition with box and papers (case and bracelet ok, but very small chip on edge of crystal, easily replaceable)-- $0 additional required from me2. Trade it in for a Rolex Explorer 114270 in minty condition with box and papers-- $500 a
