On Friday I had fun visiting a few ADs. Have a look at my trip report for more info.During that trip I got to see and try on a Longines Retrograde. As I had expected it was fabulous. I had never seen a retrograde in the flesh before, and it was just stunning. I loved watching the seconds move across and then flick back in the blink of an eye. And the watch just looked beautiful! They also had the model with the power reserve meter, but I prefer the one with the seconds. It is so cool watching the hand creep across and flick back. It was a beautiful watch and I just fell in love with it. Of course it is not an inexpensive watch. It is over AUS$6,000! So this will be some time coming. But it will be well worth the wait!
Bucherer Electronic Chronometer. An odd but interesting movement.Should really reset the dateIMG_3695.jpgIMG_3472.jpg
This is my first thread on the PP sub-forum, but I just wanted to give the Mods/owner(s) of TRF the for adding back the 5522 thread to the archives. I think that closing the thread but leaving it in the history logs is the right decision, and I would like to acknowledge it. I don't think that we need to rehash the entire thread here, as it has been talked about in several threads.
Hi all,Wow, this kinda sucks... when I put the exact time on my new 5712, using the reverse crown turn to make it exact, and I push the crown back in, the second hand continues to be blocked for some time, even have to make it move to deb lock its the time is really not exact at all, just great after my AP ceramic case cracked, getting a 5167R soon just need the sticking date issue and we'll have a homerun. This ever happened to anyone and how did you solve the problem? Thanks for your help guys
