- I was suprised how cheap looking the straps were because the watch cost over $69 plus the shipping fees. The watch and the straps were made in China. Disappointed. Returning immediately for refund.

hello,i find more and more that i tend to be attracted to pilots watches over any other type. and more more specifically, vintage pilot's watches. there's something about the old, rugged look they have and the clear sign that they were purpose built to aid the pilot. are there any good sources for finding / researching these? anyone else feel the same way i do?
Saw this on another website 'Luminor Marina - 'Pig Las Vegas Boutique' Panerai PAM 464' and cannot find many reviews or why it was even made. Does anyone have any information or thoughts on this model? What movement it has? Is it a 'real' Panerai or some kitchy Vegas knockoff? Any info is appreciated.thx!BTW - first time posting and love this forum!!
Hi all,I¡¯d like to hear about your experiences buying a new Rolex from an AD. I¡¯m receiving my doctorate in the spring and am very interested in rewarding myself with a classic No-Date Submariner. For example: How do I start the process? What advice do you offer? Should I expect a negotiated price? Is it wise to buy in a different state in an effort to avoid taxes?I live in Wisconsin, with easy access to a local AD, semi-local ADs in Chicago, and wouldn¡¯t be against non-local dealings as well. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,Polo
