I'd been looking for an SD for a few weeks and considered several different watchs from dealers and private parties alike. I ended up buying a nice, pre-owned, K serial SD. I worked with one of our fantastic sponsors, Top Notch Watch. The experience couldn't have been easier and I'd do business with Scott Levin again in a heartbeat. I've Been on a Shrapnel Guard BINGE ! ! ! ! ! !
Hey guys !I just got back from the NAWCC New Orleans Regional yesterday evening.............sorry to say that the show was rather disappointing but it did have one high note.I was able to snag a GIANT SIZE 6s SHRAPNEL GUARD, 38mm ! ! ! ! ! ! !It has a rather robust design that gives the watch a superb stance on the wrist ! ! !I've been on the hunt for this guard for several years so I guess the trip down to New Orleans was well worth the expense even though the show was pretty thin.The GIANT Size 6s genuine "SNAP ON" guards are quite hard to come by ! ! !This one measures 42mm lug to lug and 38mm without the factory crown, 18mm lug diameter.The guard fits onto the Philadelphia "silverode" case like a glove, snaps into place VERY crisply just as it should ! !The shrapnel guard now rests on a 1917 size 6s Elgin Trench Watch with a BOLD Arabic military dial, re-lumed factory drilled hour marker dots & 1917 Elgin military hands.New mainspring, new glass, new genuine Buffalo strap, new

Deep Blue DayNight T25
My Deep Blue DayNight T25 arrived yesterday. I have owned Deep Blue watches before; however, I found them to be too big and heavy.especially on the OEM bracelet. The model I got has a 43mm SS case which is only 12mm thick. It has 22mm lugs and ships with a nice rubber strap. I have now mounted mine on a black/ pvd hardware ZULU that was in my strap drawer.These watches are Deal of the Week watches at Deep Blue and well worth the price. One of the biggest mistake I ever made
Yesterday, I sold my AP stainless steel diver and get a preowned 15400 in a return.And yeah, now I regret it so much. Why??? Do you name your watch?
I am one of those guys that gives things names. If it has a motor it gets a name. Other things I own that have a special place in my heart might get named as well. For example, specific golf clubs, those things that go bang that we can't talk about, my Big Green Egg, etc. Anyway, does anyone name their watches? Mine Sub is Lexie and my DJII is Rhonda.
