Cartier W7100036 wrist watches news:
Last month a I had a chance to visit Bangkok, Hong Kong and Macau. While I have visited several countries in my life, this was my first trip toFar East Asia. It was great. Very different experience overall & wonderful people everywhere. As this was a business trip and unfortunately I did not havemuch time for local site-seeing excursions, but I still managed to take close to 800 pictures. Here are just a few of them. Sorry, not to many 'watch related' shots ================================================== =======Leaving Bangkok.Arriving to Hong Kong - a LOT of people everywhere and moving fast:Leo, you would LOVE it here ! :DBeautiful modern city. With Kowloon it seemed like 4 Manhattans glued together around Victoria Harbor.Business trip wasn't that bad..In addition to visiting 4 of our major suppliers, we alsohad to visit a very large jewelry shows in Bangkok and Hong Kong. (Steph, you would LOVE it here - mind boggling shows ;) )(view of HK downtown through the windows of Exhib
I ordered a watch from Friends Of Oris yesterday, and in their e-mail confirmation they said the watch would be shipped in about a week because they will run it through calibration, pressure, etc. tests.I don't mind the wait, but I've not before encountered this procedure. I've purchased watches both online and in person from local retailers. My concern is that I am not getting a new factory sealed time-piece.This is my first time dealing with them. Has anyone any ideas why they feel a need to test a new watch? I haven't encountered complaints about them, but I'm concerned. Any help anyone?
Well, I'm definitely excited! The 1946 Centenary 2500 caliber 30.10 has landed:Got the strap installed and wearing it around the house.Man, I am tonight! Won't be wearing it often until it's serviced, just a little around the house tonight and tomorrow morning. I've never wanted to replace a flipped / traded watch as much as this one. I was to trade my first one even though it was for a sweet Constellaton. It's be a day in Hell before this one departs.
Can't believe its my 1000th post on WTFAppropriate that i'm wearing a Milgauss (1,000 gauss) while writing this Have learned a tremendous amount from the forum and seen the passion of fellow WIS such as Rob (Donut) , Milos (Watchfan1) and Dennis (Ulackfocus). Thanks to John for starting a wondering forum to discuss watches!Hopefully there will be many more posts to come!Cheers Everyone
