- I bought this as a gift for my adult daughter. She loves Tinkerbell. It comes in an awesome Disney Mickey Mouse box (very attractive) and the watch is awesome. The price was very reasonable. My daughter will love it!

Piaget Piaget 15172 wrist watches news:
I picked this up the other day. I had seen them a few times before, and I'm glad to finally get one myself. :)
Sorry for my absence from the forum for a bit - was traveling for work. But it did pose an interesting opportunity for thought.I was traveling in Brazil and stole away for a night in Rio. Being a fan of music, I found a bar playing Bossa Nova in Ipanema. I was sitting there, by myself, people watching and listening to the set when I noticed a gentleman and his wife sitting a couple of tables over. He had a bottle of Johnny Walker and what appeared to be a nice watch. So, I had the thought - have you ever looked at a person, surveyed the situation and thought - "sure, I'd trade even up." You can't know what they are wearing though. It was low light, I couldn't tell what he was wearing - maybe a Timex and maybe a JLC - but the demeanor, dress, etc. I thought an interesting game (FWIW, I was wearing my Hamilton Field Chrono).Interesting thoughts over an adult beverage in a great city...B
In the spirit of the holidays, I am keeping this light and fluffy. No sharks, hacked up corpses or other kinky stuff involving weird watch discoveries. Here is today's tidbit:Raymond Weil sued actress Charlize Theron for wearing a Christian Dior watch and necklace to an AIDS bash. Theron had inked a 14-month deal - for an undisclosed amount - saying she'd only wear Weil. Weil contends in the lawsuit it spent $20 million on the ad campaign with Theron.
i used not to care much about the clasp of a watch but lately is one detail i look closely before buying a watch.rolex clasps are dissapoiting for the price and prestige of the brand, my Daytona with the all new clap after 4 years became too lose and i had to take it to the AD to repair it. not acceptable for a Rolex.TagHeuer makes excellent quality clasp, but not original, they use the classic scissor claps.Ulysse Nardin is known for its extremely quality claps, haven't see one in person.my Seamaster have the best claps i ever used on a watch, its extremely sturdy and have a 100% quality feel, the push button is a winner. definitely my favorite.so, for you, who makes the best clasp?
Hi All, I have more experience on the vintage Rolex side - and wanted to share my first vintage Omega From my research:Omega OT 2620, Rose Gold Tresor, circa 1949.The 265 manual wind movement has an 11.1 mil serial.Stunning on my wrist due to it's 38mm size. About 9 or 10 mm high.Dial has been nicely redone and due to a service approx 2 years ago - it winds very smooth and keeps excellent time.I am intrigued with these 38mm Omegas and want to learn more, maybe looking for another in stainless.Received from Clissold in a very nice transaction a few weeks ago. Thanks for looking!Russ
