As you can see in my signature, this watch is on my want list. So I don't miss out, I want to ask some questions about its discontinuation.Has this been definitively confirmed?When will it happen and is there an estimate of how long stocks will last (what is my drop dead date for new AD purchase)?Is there a replacement planned? Saw some mention of a Baselworld announcement. Will this be the same style with a co-axial movement and new model number? If it looks the same, that might be acceptable to me.This is the closest watch want that I have that would classify as a grail and I don't want to miss out on owning one. Ahhh after all the snow we've had dumped on us I thought of this symphony of watches to remind myself that spring is hopefully inevitable....Winter - icy cold and primal Spring - refreshing, crisp, energizing and rebirth!Summer - blazing heat and blinding sunny glory!Fall - all colors, cool breezes and qarm sweaters and walks in the park!Now of course I jut wear them whenever I like :) but thought it would make a nice little symphony of pics from my lineup! Rolex 1665 Replacement Crystal
Hi I have a 1665 sea dweller with the original acrylic crystal. It has a ton of scratches. Options are to replace or buff. If I replace at Rolex, does anyone know whether the replacement crystals are distinguishable from the originals?
