Cartier WG101251 wrist watches news:
Last year Cartier launched the Calibre de Cartier line powered by the brand’s in-house 1904-PS movement. The watch represented an important step for the brand. Despite the clearly sporty aesthetics, the Calibre de Cartier was available only on a strap. At SIHH 2011, a new and decidedly more sporting version debuted on a bracelet. Find pricing inside. The new models are available in stainless steel with black or silver dial, and in 18K rose gold and stainless steel with a silver dial. The bracelets feature wide polished center links and thinner brushed outer links with a deployant-style folding clasp. At 42mm x 10mm, the case dimensions have not changed. Water resistance is 30 meters. For more on this watch and the movement that powers it, click here.As we go to press, only approximate U.S. pricing is available: steel version $7000; steel and gold $10,950
I couldn't resist this one. I've been really getting into vintage Omega lately. The Omega sport watches from the 60s/70s are so cool and the ability to get an Extract from the Archives confirming date of production and where the watch was delivered is a huge plus. This Seamaster 176.007 Chronograph totally blew me away. Blue dial, totalizer sub dial has turned tropic, orange airplane hand minute counter, 24 hr day night indicator. And a quick set date. Plus, it has the legendary 1040 Lemania movement and it Omega's first automatic Chronograph. It's just freakin awesome! Why aren't more people collecting these?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Troops:When I was a young WIS I saved my paper route money and bought a new Omega Seamaster Pro 660 ft water proofness....I still own the piece, black dial, tritium in 90%, some slight bleed of trit on dial. Working, I'm original owner with the original plastic box and paperwork.Ideas to value? I'll try and do pix soon........Thanks,Chris
I always thinking to sell my 5980/1A because its always stay in the safe. But today I change my mind after I'm wearing it again. My watch is so cool :))ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360898171.231432.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1360898201.347405.jpg
I am thinking of adding a two-tone sky dweller to my collection. I really like the champagne as well as the white dials. But I am on the waiting list for a white Daytona and most of my other watches dials are dark thinking of white or champagne. I am a little drawn to the champagne one because it is a very unique color and would not be in my collection sense hopefully soon will be getting a white Daytona Please help me with the dial color choice, what do most people here prefer? Also would i be able to get any discount on a TT skyD or that’s less likely?Pictures would really help!Thank you
