Cartier W8100011 wrist watches news:
This newcomer to the Historiques collection is inspired by a model created during the post-war years. Its pink gold 31.2 x 44. 55mm case embodies a complex construction. ¡°Aronde¡± is an Old French word for a swallow¡¯s wings, and it refers to the original double-rounded curve unfurling almost like wings along the case flanks. The opaline silvered dial is adorned with a fine hand-guilloch¨¦. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. This distinctive piece with a vintage spirit is powered by Calibre 1400 AS, a mechanical hand-wound movement, bearing the Hallmark of Geneva, developed and manufactured in-house by Vacheron Constantin. This piece has a style all its own, and it harks back to the days when a successful writer, artist, or other creative individual might express their position through the timepiece on their wrist. The USA retail price is $26,200.Technical data appears below the images, which may be enlarged with a click. why ? ....well, from a distance and if you squint, this is a good looking watch ....but if you stop squinting, and hit the higher power () the dial starts to look more than a little.....shall we say ..????? strange .....ok let's say it .....The dial looks strange .....I feel so much better ......whew anyway .....any musings about this stange dial from our resident experts on Hamiltons ? .....and aside from that question.....oops better post the link before I forget Vintage 1951 Hamilton TODD Gold Filled 18J Watch RUNS anyway .....when my Dad was alive, it was nice ....any medical question ? ...got a live in expert......( and you'd be surprised how many times you have a question that it takes a doctor to answer) if I have a question about my ADHD , or something happens that only they would understand ....I have my ADD forum......and nowdays, if I have a question about anything at all .....I have my cheezefrend ....they know everything ......about life .....but it is also ince , and i
Finland's Suunto watch company makes the G6 timepiece which measures swing speed, backswing length, tempo and rhythm as well as keeping score.
I was traveling on business over the past few days and so of course, popped into a local PP dealer. I was really looking to try on a 5164A (or even a 5167A just to see how it looks on the wrist) as the travel time is a piece that has really caught my attention. They didn't have any Aquanaut models but they did have the 5726A. I assumed that everything in the Nautilus line would always feel too big (as I felt the 5711 was big for me) but this really had a smaller feel, which I liked. It sat lower on the wrist and maybe the leather strap helped take some of the heft and slimmed down the profile.I know, 2 totally different complications and watches all together, but wanted to get some insight from owners of either. Or for the lucky, owners of both!!! I do travel some so the GMT function would be useful, but an annual calendar is just a great complication to have/use all the time (and a moon phase to add!).Torn...
I will be visiting NYC in a few weeks. I plan to go to the PP boutique, which I understand is inside the Tiffany store on 5th Ave. I think there are some other watch brand boutiques on Madison Ave. (e.g. Girard Perregaux at 701 Madison Ave.). And, I will of course visit Tourneau. But, can anyone suggest some other watch guy destinations? Other top brand boutiques? Any interesting dealers of new and used complicated and rare watches?Any suggestions would be appreciated!
