Cartier Cartier 37393 wrist watches news:
I have noticed that the Bond style GMT, 2535.80, is listed at $3650, while the new version, 2234.50, is about $1000 less. Why is that? Also, what is it about the GMT, in general, that makes it so much more than a regular automatic SMP? Is the movement that much more expensive, or is it just marketing? (or a little of both)Thank you.....
Hi,I currently own a 2220.80 seamaster, it is about 2.7 years old and I noticed this morning that it was dead. I wore it all day yesterday and typically that charges it more than enough to stay running overnight. I unscrewed the crown to the wind position and gave 30-40 turns. Normally this is more than enough to get it going however it would move for a second or 2 then stops. More winds resulted in the same behavior. I am wondering if there may be something wrong with it and before taking it to the shop I figured i'd check with the experts here! Thanks,Brandon
Anyone here have a big monitor with 1920x1200 resolution or something similar? I know Scott does. If anyone does I can put up a few large Breitling wallpapers I have.
I really like the look of the older, manual wind Speedmasters, and I understand it's a right of passage (of sorts). I only just recently started to get my head around Rolex, so I'm not even going to try to pretend that I have any clue about the Speedmasters. The reference numbers are crazy, I have no idea what pre- and post-moon is (I know why they're called that, but not what's significant about it), and overall I'm clueless. I don't need the Comex equivalent, but I'd like to have an idea of what's what with these.Lay it on me.
