What do you get when you combine the simple task of winding a mechanical automatic watch with the sci-fi possibility of a 1990's era virtual reality gyroscope harness? You get the Gyrowinder - which is the newest high-end "presentation" watch winder from German Dottling. Pre-sale polish???
TRF members,I wanted to know everyone's take on this one....I am gearing up to sell my breitling chronometre, in order to start getting serious about a gmtiic.I am debating whether I should get the clasp polished first or sell it as is?Personally, I would rather buy a watch with scratches than one that has been polished by someone else... All manufacture servicing excluded of course.What do you think?

Always love the PAM but finally pulled the trigger last week. PAM233, K Series, GREEN DOT! Couldn't be happier and already on the slippery slope of acquiring differnet straps for everyday of the week! (That's what you're supposed to do right?????)Enough of the words and a few quick pics!P.S. A VERY STRONG endorsement of European Watch Company. They were super responsive and helpful, shipped the watch out overnight the same day I wired funds. If you're in the market for any higher end watch, definitely go check them out!

Oyster Perpetual V's Explorer 1
I'm currently considering either a Oyster Perpetual 116000 (No Date) or a Explorer 114270 both would be in stainless steel with black dial... they look fairly similar however I am I right in thinking they both use a 3130 calibre movement ? the internet is a bit of a minefield when it come to researching these things,Also is either better than the other.... many thanks H
