Chopard Chopard 6049 wrist watches news:
I have a PloProp on order for about 5 weeks but haven't received it yet, anyone else having this problem? I have noticed that no post have been made in the past few weeks so just wondering if anyone may have a insight to the problem?? and what the normal waiting period is on a ordered watch? My AD said 2-6 weeks.
eBay item #130393229738The 1930's Otis was only available in a gold filled case. Hamilton didn't become Swiss-owned until the 1970's. The dial on the watch is not from an Otis - note the minute track does not fit the bezel opening.
Did you all see that yellow gold ILLINOIS BARONET go for $3260.00 0n the swamp last night? Whats up with that? Didn't see that coming any comments, thoughts? WOW
Was thinking about sourcing a 565 movement to send to archer watches to be built into a 166.024 seamaster 300 using new omega parts. I realize that the watch would appear new and even though its heart would be fully serviced it would still be around forty years old. My concern would be the resale value on something like this should I decide that I wanted to sell in the future. Do any of you omega guys have any advice, suggestions, or guesstimate on a value for something like this?
I have a 359 inbound and I want to get it polished/serviced (it's an M serial). Are there any good Panerai watchmakers in the Northeast that can do a service/polish at a reasonable price? I have heard some horror stories from some who have sent off to the AD service ctr and just want to keep my options open. Thanks!
