- I bought this watch for my husband this year for Christmas. He hasn't seen it yet but I know he'll love it. It looks much nicer than in the picture- much more dressy and classy. This picture does this watch no justice.

Chopard 163154-5002 wrist watches news:
If Richard Mille and Hublot had a developmentally disabled child, it would be Cvstos. I kid! The Swiss brand never fails to amuse me. Especially the "V" style "U" in their name. I must admit though that the V looks better in writing. "Custos" just looks odd. Some of their designs I like, some I don't. This Challenge-R 50 Chronograph watch has some things to admire, and areas to make fun of. What is interesting is that most of these watches are available for half price online. The Cvstos Challenge-R (get it, "challenger") 50 Chronograph watch is nice overall. Perhaps not their most inspired design, but has enough technical looking sportiness to not horrendously insult anyone who wears it. The 45mm wide titanium case has a nice mix of brushed and polished surfaces, and enough design elements that work in other watches are adopted here so that ti doesn't look too bad. Really the main problem with the watch is the price and the hands. Those tiny, tiny little hands. Why do they look so lilli

Thoughts? Personally it drives me NUTS!! But then again, the Invictaguy Nairs his/her hands every week to remove all the hair below the wrist line.
Greetings all,The new SMP arrived the other day and here are the pics... I have loved this watch since I saw it years ago but have never owned this particular model. Tell me what you all think and at the next Toronto GTG I'll be wearing this baby proudly...
soooooo i received a package in the post today (and yes i'm sorry for the crappy iphone photos)The new panerai 514 47mm steel 1940 case with the hand wound p3000 movement. First impression, suddenly it's panerai almost making a sensible normalish watch.I tend to wear only the 47mm models (with one exception) so here it is with the rest of the collectionFor a 47mm panerai it's thin, here is it compared to the 448the 372and the 368Also the face is the same size as the 448, i was expecting it to much more similar to the 372 as the cases are a similar designWhen i first saw the press release photos, i wasn't that impressed, i didn't like the date, i wasn't sure about the subdial. But actually what they've made is a very wearable everyday panerai, something with all the grace and simple design of panerai but in a more usual format. I suspect this is going to become my everyday wear to the office watch. The interesting bit is the strap changing, for the 1940 models, panerai has going over to
