Chopard 278250-3006 wrist watches news:
Congratulations to Rok from Slovenia who won last month's aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer watch giveaway. This was the first international reader who got randomly chosen to receive the the giveaway prize. This makes sense as only half of aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer readers are in the US - a truly global readership. Rok opted to win the 2CAN model Sl1536cch Chronotron watch from the selection of 2Can watches that the giveaway sponsor WatchWearwatches-dealer had. You can see more details about the 2CAN watch pictured here.I like the neat looking perforated dial and the moving lugs. Rok thinks that the watch fits well on his wrist and loves the looks. Here are more words straight from him:"The watch looks really great, it's got a modern and quite a unique design. I've been wearing it for a day and already got several compliments. It wears great and the size of the watch fits me perfectly. It also looks like its very solid build, only the strap looks like it won't really last long, hope I'm wrong.
Ebay item number: 221251217907This is not a warning about the watchthe watch is great. It's a late 90's or early 2000's Ebel chronograph with their well-respected caliber 137.But the title of the auction is "Ebel El Primero Chronograph Automatic Mens Watch". And that it is most certainly not.The Ebel watches that used the Zenith El Primero movement are marked as caliber 134 with 31 jewels. The watch in this bid has a calilber 137 shown in the display window, with 27 jewels. It's a great movement, but it's no El Primero. Both are similar from the front simply because the Ebel 137 was designed to fit in the same case and dial arrangement as the El Primero.I have tried notifying the seller, who is unresponsive. And I have tried to find a way to report it to ebay, but ebay has no way to report such a sale. The watch is NOT a fake; the problem is those two words in the title, which normally make a substantial difference in the price a watch will attract.Rick "who was interested if it had an
Today in the morning the door bell rings and an DHL-Guy gave me this.So I started with unpacking. The inscription is GERMAN and means HAVE FUN!!! Maybe an adult movie??? After removing the paper I found this:I will show you the next pictures after having lunch. Maybe you can guess what it is???
I'm trying to find them in Omega's official list and am having trouble doing so.I hear this place get recommended often enough, but is it an AD?(There seems to be an AD down the road from Continental Jewelers with a different name and address)
There is an Aquanaut 5066 currently for sale on E-Bay which has received some spirited bidding even though the description plainly states that the original Patek movement is missing and that the watch has an ETA movement. Am I missing something? Why would an Aquanaut with a replacement ETA movement generate much interest at all?
