Chopard 277472-5002 wrist watches news:
Right from the time of its launch in 1993, Happy Sport line was particularly brilliant. This very original watch was inspired by the lighthouse of Happy Diamonds model, while adding a touch of updating of the lines of originality and Vanguard. Since then, the Happy Sport collection has become one of the biggest hits of the mark. The new Happy Sport Chrono Mark II presented at Baselworld last year was in agreement with that in accordance with decision to innovate and respond to women in terms of watches still more sophisticated applications.
Got a grab bag at an antique mall a couple of weeks ago and this was inside. Cleaned it up a little and replaced the battery and ..hey! it still works. I might flip it, might keep it. It definately needs a new band/bracelet/strapThoughts?
I was looking for the first watch I remember having today, and stumbled upon these two that I don't think I've ever seen before...They're not exactly Omegas or even Tissots for that matter, but they're kinda neat in their own way.The first one is an Armitron that I suspect was given to me by my grandfather. I mentioned one time that I was upset that Charles Schultz was no longer going to be making Peanuts, and he took it as a cue to buy me everything peanuts and clip the comics out of the paper and mail them to me every few months . He meant well, just trying something to connect to his grandson with. Now that he's nursing home bound I kinda feel bad for not appreciating his comics more . Here's the collector's case:And the watch:It's entirely too small for me now, but I'm losing weight and the band might fit sometime soon. I'm thinking that I'll wear it to interviews with a suit. Or...just keep it around because it's kinda cool but never wear it.And the other one:God only knows
Hi everyoneAs my 15300 is on it's way, I wanted to validate couple of things with you. Watch has been originally sold June 2011, so this coming june, it will be 2 years old. I have read on the AP website that if it is sent to the APSC for testing water resistance, they give a 3rd year of warranty.Questions I had is1: is it recommended to do anything else, I suppose no but ...2: will they refresh the case, bezel and bracelet to bring it to a like new ?3: how long does it take ?Reason I am asking is that the watch I got is pre-owned with some little marks on the bezel that I would like them removed at the same time, really nothing to worry about but just wanted your input.Cheers,
It has always been a cherished brand for me, perhaps because my father and mother always wore Omegas (still do), but there were always some design aspects that kept me from buying. Until now, I think...So I visited the Omega Boutique on during lunch today. I already talked about my favorable impressions of the Speedmaster 9300 on a separate thread. I've always had a week spot for the Ploproof but quite never had the guts to pull the trigger, but then today I thought I'd give the Planet Ocean 8500 42mm another look. And I was very pleased, dare I say, smitten by it.I recently sold off my SubC, reason being that I have the old Sub and the DSSD, so I don't really need that bad boy as well, but moreover, I feel like the redesign has Rolex on the wrong track. The bezel in combination with the glossy dial just makes the darn thing too shiny and blingy!? The oversized lugs created a boxy designs that just doesn't speak to me. And there is no hiding from the fact that when I go to an office m
