Chopard 275349-5001 wrist watches news:
While I would not tend to be a person who checks off "full pave" or "dragon dial" on the list of things I like in watches for my self, this diamond studded version of the Patek Philippe Nautilus with an engraved enamel dragon dial is really beautiful. They call is the reference 5720/1 "Dragon" in white gold, and it is part of a collection of limited edition and piece unique models Patek Philippe has released for their new place of business in Shanghai. It isn't just a boutique, it is a "house" (maison).Patek Philippe did have an existing boutique in Shanghai but closed it in favor of a new palace which celebrates the brand and is called the Maison Patek Philippe. The brand spent about a year restoring a building originally build in 1849 in Shanghai's Bund district that the government started to rebuild in 2004. It was considered an historic monument, but somehow Patek Philippe acquired it in 2010.The new Maison Patek Philippe (click to see video and pictures via Patek) is huge with 1,2
Just got a new Seiko SKX173 yesterday. So far I love it. I've owned and worn an Orange Monster for the past year and really like it too. It has the metal bracelet which I like, but does make the watch a bit heavy. I decided to add a rubber strapped SKX173 to my collection just to have something different. So far it's keeping great time. My OM gains about 15 secs per day, the 173 seems to be right on the money....hope that doesn't change over time (no pun intended). These Seikos are great watches.
Dear all, Since a while I am trying to find a Seiko with real "arabic" numbers. Is there anyone here who can help me on this? I have already contacted Seiko Japan, however, without success Thank you and best regards! (Source:seiko 5 with "arabic/persian" numbers)
My Wife is definitely a keeper! I came home from work today and she had a nice box wrapped up for me and said it was the male equivalent of flowers. She left work and headed right to the AD where I spotted this the other day. I have several Eco-Drives and for some reason I always wanted this one. This looks like just the ticket for a Sunday BBQ -Matt
After a long battle that saw my brains and better sense beaten to a pulp, my heart finally claimed victory, so I've now started researching the Snoopy Speedmaster in the hopes of buying one in the not too distant future. I've had a quick look around so far and there are some examples for sale but they seem quite expensively priced. I'm talking about nearly $6,000 though they're apparently in mint condition. I'm just wondering what everyone else would pay for a Snoopy today, in mint or great condition? Also are there any owners out here with pics to share :)? I'm not a die-hard fan of Peanuts, or Snoopy, but for whatever reason this Speedy just seems to tug at my heart strings. I've no idea why but that must be some sort of love lol. Copper
