Chopard 384238-5004 wrist watches news:
The sleek Parmigiani Tonda Hemispheres and a superb 1931 Bugatti Type 50SIn our first article about my visit to Parmigiani Fleurier, we covered the history of the brand, its strong connection with restoration, and we also discussed how the company strives to keep the watchmaking and restoring trades alive.?In this second segment, we will discover what it takes to make a Parmigiani watch by taking a special tour of the "Watchmaking hub" that is behind the brand. Officially called MHF (Manufactures Horlogeres de la Fondation), it is a network of five superb manufacturing sites, all primarily owned by the Sandoz Family Foundation, the founder?of Parmigiani Fleurier.Out of the five facilities, Atokalpa SA, is responsible for most moving parts, such as gears and pinions, as well as for components of the escapement, while Elwin SA makes balance shafts and other extremely fine parts. Review of the Orbita Siena 2 Rotorwind Watch WinderBy: John B. Holbrook, II6/3/2011
Figured I'd officially introduce myself and say Hi to the fellow AP owners. I recently purchased my first AP (a silver dial 15400 from Brian G aka boxerbrian) and absolutely love it. I have owned several Rolexes, probably a dozen Panerais, Omegas, Breitlings, Tudors, UNs, IWCs, GOs, etc etc - mainly hang out on the Dive Watch Connection and buy/sell/trade on there, TZ and Paneristi. I've wanted a Diver ever since they were first introduced but because I love my DSSD on Rubber B so much I decided to fill a gap in my collection and do the 15400 with my first AP. The watch has more finishing details than any other piece I've ever owned with probably a GO Sport Evo Panorama date being second. Everything about the watch screams quality and it's versatile enough for me that I can wear it in my business casual work environment or with jeans. After only a few days of ownership I'm already thinking about my next one if that tells you anything! So, on to the pics! Also, a few after of the rest of
Good Day All,I am thinking of getting a new, should I go AP 15400 silver/white dial or Patek 5711 white dial? And why? Here is a photo of the 5711 on me,I will post this on both forumsThanks,Eric
