The Zenith El Primero Sport
Adding to its already robust line up of El Primero chronographs, Zenith has announced a new addition to the range – the El Primero Sport. This new chronograph, set in a stainless-steel case, offers another option to clients in the market for a simpler, larger watch without additional complications. Monochromatic chronograph registers, various strap choices, and two dial options complete the latest offering from this 150-year-old manufacture.At 45 mm in diameter (by 14 mm in thickness), the new Zenith El Primero Sport joins the likes of the Stratos Spindrift in being one of the larger offerings in the El Primero range. The case is similarly styled to other El Primero watches, with beefy sloped lugs extending from a simple round case. This week IWC unveiled several of it's latest creations at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in Geneva. One was a ceramic version of the DaVinci Chronograph. London Calling : Christopher Ward C8 Pilot MK II Automatic
This is my first from the British watch company Christopher Ward. Ordering direct was easy, service was prompt and delivery by post took one week. This is my first 'Pilot' watch and I really like the cream colored dial and the excellent legibility of the dial markings. At 44mm by 52mm and with a 37.5mm dial it wears large and I'm wearing it on the last position on the strap. I have a 7 1/4 inch wrist.It has minimal lume, but is sufficient to read easily as the hands are quite large. I am in a ¡°big¡± dilemma at the moment, I am a big fan of the 5980/1R. However, right now I have only a 55K budget that I can spare, which would get me a 5711/1R but I dont really like 5711 because its too thin for my liking. But with my current budget I can afford two watches that I like, the daydate 40 and RO 15450OR just dont adore them like I do the 5980/1R. Should I wait and save up to buy the 5980/1R which would take me a few months or just go with the other 2 watches that I like instead? I would love to hear some opinions. I currently only have a gold daytona(is variety/quantity really important?) FYI- I am only 21 and go to college(I earn from joint business with my mom) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
