Chopard 41/7396 wrist watches news:
Hi,I received a sales email from "Sportsmansguide",usually get several a week. In any case this is about "a sale on watches" One in particular caught my eye. I've included photos below. The Tritium may make it a pretty good buyI'd question the 330' water resistance however. Comes with a strap,no SS bracelet. However the Tritium still makes it look appealing for $89 + shipping. Anyone have any idea as to who/where this watch was madeI'd guess asian,to some extent w/ Swiss movment. The info you see here,is all that's avail. Here's the details.Chronograph (stop watch) technology counts elapsed time right down to the split second. Has the latest Lumi-Tech illumination technology and is Self-powered, encapsulated tritium glows continuously for up to 25+ years without maintenance. * All stainless steel case and case back * Precision Swiss movement * Date calendar * Black face, white hands and markers * Water-resistant to 330' * Leather strap. Weighs 3 ozs. Bonus:
Anyone have the new superocean 44 on steel bracelet? Want opinions on the watch cause I really like the 44 since I have a big wrist. Well made? Any input is appreciated. Thanks
Had to get it....
with how crazy the 5711 market has gotten have any of you considered trading to something different? i doubt id actually do it but i¡¯m tempted seeing how you can get a 5235 or 5205 etc for just a bit more cash. dumb idea when the dealers are telling me i¡¯m wearing the one everyone wants already but fun to think about.
Recently, I was given an excellent opportunity to buy a one year old 5227R at a great price. But to do that I would have to sell my newly (to me) purchased 5127R.So I sent out the usual enquires to some grey dealers, providing them with all the relevant details, including the fact that the watch came with archives but not original certificate. Each one of them asked me to clarify whether the original certificate was included as without them it would effect the price. Now, I would not normally buy a Patek without any papers, and so I am happy whether it comes complete with original certificate or archives. As both, imo, show that the watch has been checked by Patek and that it's correct & not stolen. What are your thoughts on the subject?Would buying a Patek with only the archive papers, put you off buying? What, in your opinion, would the reduction of price be without certificate but with archives?
