Corum A082/02922 wrist watches news:
The cushion form came in several varieties over the years. Below are links to four such varieties. (Again, thanks to Tom Diss for providing the photos and sharing his collection.)Cushion B Cushion Engraved Cushion Form Cushion WWII Which one is your favorite?Typically, I am a sucker for a seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock as shown on the WWII model, but there's something about the Cushion B that appeals to me.
You know, I just realized why I haven't bought a watch in a while. I was about ready to buy an Orient - and would have - but I no longer use my credit card. I paid it off and tore it up. I do have one, but it is only for flights, hotels and vacations. I am making no more credit purchases. Why? Because the banksters jacked me up to insane usury levels and I won't be chumped like that. I refuse to be reamed by these criminals any longer. And I'm a good customer with a great credit score. Still, they want to rip me off. So I'm out. I don't know how they think this is good for their business. So I'm back to cash basis. Problem is, I can always think of more immediate things to do with it. When I see a watch, I used to like to jump on it out of pure fun and pay later. It was a good system. Good for business, too.No more of that. It's a real shame.
Is to buy better and more expensive watches than ever before! :DThats right I plan on starting the year with a debaufre GMT 2 purchase then I will begin saving for an Oris TT1 Diver. And Finally my Biggest planed purchase will be an Omega Planet Ocean 42mm with an Orange bezel! I must say I am really excited to be in the "hunt" for all these watches and if the budget allows I will probably also look at another Oris or Omega.. and finally (excuse me for being new to this style of watch!) the triangle dialed Hamilton(?) I would like to look at. Well heres to an exciting 2010!
This was in a wonderful seller's safe for the last two years. Brand new, stickers still intact, never sized. I feel very lucky to have found it and now own it.Had to part with another watch, but feel it was worth it!!!!!
Can anyone explain what is happening with Rolex? The AD¡¯s can¡¯t get any SS sports models. It¡¯s impossible to get a Daytona and will be the same for the SS BLRO unless you spend insane money at an AD. I won¡¯t be able to get either watch. I¡¯m about to write off the brand as I feel they are really screwing their customers. The BLRO is front and center on their website but you won¡¯t be able to get one... disgrace!
