On September 17, undersea explorer and combat diver Scott Cassell completed a 30-mile dive from Catalina Island to San Pedro, California. Scott’s goals: to call attention to endangered shark species that are approaching the edge of extinction, and to set a world distance record for the longest uninterrupted dive. According to Cassell, less than 20 years ago this area would have produced between 40 and 100 shark sightings in a single dive. Jacques Lemans Quartz
I've read the positive reviews on the JL Geneve Automatics, but I have yet to see much on their quartz models. In particular, I'm looking at one of their divers. I've seen the pics and reviews of others on here and they seem to be a solid watch. Another member on another forum has a Japanese diver auto that looks very well also. Has any one had experience with this model or one like it? OR any JL Geneve Quartz. From the reviews it seems that they offer good quality watches, and I've not heard of any CS or QC problems. I'm also impressed at the fact that they do have a plant in Geneve, Switzerland where they build their Geneve watches and do the final inspections. In buying this watch, should I expect a good $250 watch (price that can be had) or will I be looking at a better deal than that?

Which PAMs to let go for a Patek 5711?
Have a 25, 390, 232 and 372 in the collection.. The first of which will never be sold for sentimental reasons as I bought it during my honeymoon..Have been eyeing a Patek Nautilus 5711 for a while now, but have to let something go to fund it, probably 2 out of the 390 232 and 372..Which of the 390, 232 and 372 (2 pieces) would you let go to fund the PP 5711? Or are they such a perfect trinity to you that you would not break it up for a Nautilus? Interested to know what you good folks think! Rather conflicted on this and the feeling changes oh so often.Cheers all !!
