Ebel 9057A28-061050 wrist watches news:
While watching the pre game show on ESPN this morning, they showed clips of games in the past, one of which caught my eye. This shot is from the 1956 NFL championship, which was played at Yankee stadium in New York.I paused the TV and took a cell phone photo of the TV screen and thought this might be interesting to some of the members here.Apparently, Longines was the time keeper of that stadium back then.
Hey guys! Being a huge Bond fan I've always loved this simple & classic strap. I would like it along w/ a watch to be able to beat around in, as Bond would have wanted it. I don't however want to spend the cash for a Rolex Sub on a watch I strictly want to beat up. Only requirements is that it's durable, water proof, relativly inexpensive(lets say no more than $1000), and most importantly looks good on this strap! I prefer auto, but quartz isn't completely out of the question. Love to hear your comments, or even better see watches you have w/ this strap! Thanks!

I have a 2002 - near mint condition Patek 5120G that I literally never wear. I've changed career path's and just don't have the need for a dress watch. I currently wear a 16610 on a daily basis. I'm somewhat practical and not a collector so my thought was why not trade the Patek for 2 Rolex's? I'm looking for blunt feedback - am I stupid for wanting to do this? I have one child (a girl) and I'm not looking to hold onto the Patek forever. My reasoning is I would rather have 3 nice daily watches to wear rather than just one. I was thinking of going the Datejust and Explorer II Polar route? The next step is to find someone who would be willing to do the trade. I have the Cert of Origin, books and papers. I'm guessing trade value is around $13-14K? Thoughts?
I¡¯ve only just noticed that the Rolex website doesn¡¯t show any 36mm models or meteorite dials.Does anyone know when this change came about?Regards
