Ebel Ebel 22344 wrist watches news:
Hi - A friend gave me this old Omega as a gift. He inherited it a long time ago but has never used it as its 'not his style'.Anyhow, I have worn it now for a few days now and I quite like the watch despite its aged face. Can anyone give me an idea of its age, model and possible value ? Its automatic and keep quite good time. I am wondering if its worth servicing or perhaps restoring to some extent. Any help would be much appreciated.ThanksPatrmphoto(6).jpgphoto(5).jpg
Hi,This is my first post. I've poked around the posts and can't find an answer.I've been looking at all the great old 50's and 60's gold watches on eBay. They are going for very reasonable prices. But most the older watch faces are quite tarnished or discolored after the years. Can an old dial face be cleaned? Or does it need to be re-finished?Here's an example of a great 50's look Five Star Admiral. Thanks for any suggestions.Russ
It came back from service last year after having the crown/stem replaced under warranty, and I've just noticed that it's running 42 SECONDS SLOW PER DAY Not exactly COSC is it...?Oh well, if it bothers me enough I'll have to try to find a watchmaker who can regulate it (don't know if there's much chance of that where I live). So at the moment my new 'cheap & cheerful' seiko monster with its 7s26 movement keeps better time..
hi there, does anyone know if Panerai is still shipping out Pam 671 or they're completely gone?thanks
