- This Armani Mechanico shows its movement more than most skeleton watches, and the roman numerals to show the time stand out to give a very 3D effect. I had to take it off to show several people, after they kept looking at it.

Hi there GuysAs you'll have seen from the " US Buyer Poll ", I'm looking to establish if there is a pattern indicating how we source out watches. Out of curiosity I wanted to know if we source locally or over some distance. Even if you've not bought before and are intending to buy, please let us know your preferred method of purchase. Please remember guys that the more participants we have in this poll, the more meaningful the data will be so even if you've only been a lurker, do please register and vote And of course pals, this being talkland, do tell us why you've chosen this route ( pun not intended - honest !! :D:D )Y'all have a nice weekend now pals ZIN

Hi there,I got this watch as a present and i would like to know more about it..It has a few engravings .. the first is what seems to be the makers mark DS .. theres no other hallmark..then underneath that theres a number 9 laid horizontally and surrounded by a diamond shape.. next to that are the numbers 375 and letters XX .. i assume that means 9ct gold but i dont know what the letters mean..underneath that there are the following numbers 11796 and above the 7 is a 4 in a different font style..on the movement it says RASF with RA above SF.. Around one of the gears/cogs theres 'swiss made'and finally underneath the movement .. on the back of the face of the watch.. are the numbers 219..I hope i explained this well enough..Thanks a lot .. would appreciate any help!
I am contemplating buying a 5167a. It was sold in 2007 so I will assume 11 years old. It has never been serviced, but keeping excellent time. So there is the dilemma. Do I send it back to PP for service, will cost at least $1k and be without it for 6 months? If it ain¡¯t broke so don¡¯t fix it? I have no experience with Patek so I need some expert experience. Thanks.
Can anyone with both watches take a picture that compares the two dials side-by-side? I thought I read somewhere that the hour markers are slightly larger on the SD43: True? How about the date font/cyclops: same size, or larger on the 43?I'm considering both watches, understanding that I will have a good bit of time to wait for an SD43 if I decide to go that route, but my tired old eyes could always benefit from bigger everything. If the differences are really minimal, I may just jump on a Sub.Cheers
