Ebel Ebel 19816 wrist watches news:
I was looking to buy my first Rolex (a SS Sub Date) in the next few weeks. However, now I am wondering if I should wait until 2010 when the updated SS Sub Date will be available. If I do decide to wait, can someone recommend a watch (under $1000.00) to hold me off? Something sporty, stainless, and a black face (sounds like a Sub). Thanks,Dom
Back in July when we dedicated a week on the WOTD pour hombres' to the Speedy Pro I invariably recounted the story of Mission 13 recalling that Jack Swigert called out to Mission Control Center " Houston we have a problem ".Tricky then known as Rick Atkins replied that he thought it was Jack Lovell who uttered those famous words. So who said it?Well actually, both of them did.phrases.org.uk/meanings/188425.htmlNow of course, others say it here ..sometimes ;)Y'all be well now palsZIN
Chase-Durer Men's Trident FCX II Triple Time Zone Alarm Chronograph Stainless Steel WatchStreet Price: $1000Choices: Black or white dialLoaded with complications in a design you will love! This massive 42mm "tool" from Chase-Durer is a watch lover’s fantasy. Big, bold, and different. Three is the magic number, with three sapphire crystals for three separate dials, and three independent movements displaying three time zones, with an alarm chronograph. SuperLuminova provides low light illumination on each dial. The main movement is powered by the Swiss ETA 251.242 which provides tenth-second, 60-second and 30-minute elapsed time as well as lap time, split time and fly-back simultaneous second timing. This complex, serial-numbered design features chronograph movement with 1/10th second, 60 seconds and 30 minutes elapsed time; helpful for calculations of speed, distance and fuel consumption. It is also designed with lap time, split time and fly-back simultaneous 2nd timing. It has a s
OK, last night on my new favorite TV show, The Good Guys, a very blinged out watch was featured. Anyone see this? Well, you should, because it is a very funny, cool, retro cop show on Faux (Fox).I tried to Google it, but could not find it. It was a gold-toned chronograph - not Rolex - that had red, white and blue round diamonds on the bezel. Not baguettes. My wife loved the watch and said, "Now that is a watch you can get me."Any ideas? I've got to find this watch.
Hello all,I'd like some opinions on the originality and quality of this 1988 16660 Sea Dweller. I don't have much experience with this but I know the 16660 is considered transitional; however, I was expecting the hour marker circles to be more of a pearl color from this vintage. Is this an incorrect assumption? Thanks for any thoughts or input.
