Gruen rare hunter case
In 1904 when Verithin pocketwatches originated Aeby who was long time collaborater with Dietrich (made 20,000 movements for him when Gruen started Columbus Watch Co. 1874+) started again to make fine movements for Gruen. U.S. sizes 0,6,12,16 in hunter and open face. No Verithins in hunters. By that time Gruen had acquired a fine case maker. Here is what the rare 0 size looked like. 1907 gift inscribed with low number 126939. Has a very fine adjusted movement with poised pallet German precision design. Unusual for a little lady watch. Miniature version of the Aeby 16 size r.r. model.

One for each of us
The wife and I purchased these for each other close enough to Valentine¡¯s Day to be gifts for one another. Hers is the 31mm Lady Datejust in pink, Romans with the jubilee bracelet.
