The most interesting, or I should say curious, introduction from Rolex this year is the Air King reference 116900. I am currently writing this post at about 30k feet in the air. As I was leaving the airport to walk out to my plane with my father, I glanced at the clocks on the wall and realized that they are all AP royal oak clocks! They even had catalogues and everything there about AP. I didn't get a chance to snap pictures but I will when I go back there on Sunday. This was at signature private airport by Chicago. 5726 or 5712r: Have to make a decision today!
So I've been offered a 5726 on bracelet and a 5712r. I don't want both. I like the Rose gold on the 5712r but don't like the power reserve or the fact it has no date or sweep seconds.The cons on the 5726 are it's not precious metal and I feel the case would be too similar to my Aquanaut. But I like the annual calendar and the layout of the dial.Tough decision. I'm buying one. Both brand new from AD. Help!
