Ferrari FER00020 wrist watches news:
At #baselworld 2015, Christophe Claret¡¯s headliner was the Allegro, a new minute repeater watch that boasts very fine craftsmanship and an extremely eye-catching movement. Here¡¯s what you need to know about the Le Locle brand¡¯s latest in order to stay up to date. 1. It comes from a very musical family.Watchmaker Christophe Claret has always been fond of minute repeaters; in fact, the first watch movement Claret designed, in 1989, was a minute repeater. The Allegro follows in this heritage. It is the third musical watch in the brand¡¯s Traditional Complications collection, following after the Adagio and Soprano models. However, it has a movement entirely its own. Caliber ALG89 is a manually wound caliber 34 mm in diameter. It has a grand total of 520 components. It beats at 21,600 vph. 2. The Allegro uses a smoked sapphire dial to highlight the workings of the repeater.A darkened, translucent dial offers many advantages for watch designers. In some sense, it¡¯s a happy medium
Have a great day and may all your wish come true, more Omegas to come!Cheers!
Here¡äs mine:Tic - Tic - Tic- Tic -Tic ....
I had this watch for quite a few years, and have never been able to find out exactly what it is, or when it was made.Movement: 6/0 size, seven jewels, serial # 845624. Case: Wadsworth 6/0 14 karat wgf model # 6464 ?, # 0546464It looks a lot like the trench watches I've seen here, posted by literustyfan, but looking at hundreds of these watches, I've never seen another one of this style Wadsworth case. To me, what's really unusual about it, is you can see the round dial/movement edge in a square case without the bezel covering it!One thing I noticed in the photos, is how terrible the lume looks. In person, it looks fine! Apparently, the camera sees something I can't!The case, dial and crystal are in great shape, but it needs a crown and stem which looks like it was broken off. I'm not sure which type would be correct, but assume it would be similar to a pocket watch crown. I don't know if it runs.
I know the new Explorer markII is a real beauty but I have loved the white gold 3,6,9 markI since I first noticed the watch. It just suits my eye. The hands work just fine for me, in fact I didn¡¯t really notice until I came upon a thread addressing them. Non-factor for me. I¡¯m a happy man with that new watch feeling that so many of us love and yearn for. Oh Happy DaySent from my iPad using Tapatalk
