Franck Muller Franck Muller 40877 wrist watches news:
I'm ready for my closeup Mr. DeMilleHere are a couple of glamore shots of my new Waltham. It took several tries to find a strap that wouldn't pop the bezel off of the back. I still have to store it buckled instead of hanging with my other watches in rotation. The original 17j 887 movement wouldn't run for me. It gets to sit in the drawer until I can find a replacement balance. The successor of the 887, the 870, is a little thicker movement and will not fit in the case. I'm not sure the balances will transplant. This 21j 887 Premier will have to take it's place for now. Too nice to be a donor.Joel
As some of you may know my OM finally arrived on Fri. :DWell as Sat. was my Wedding anniversary Nancy and I went on a weekend getaway. Of course I took my new MONSTER with us. The hotel/convention center in the background we push on. Finally..my meeting with "The Big Cheese"Later....My monster protects me from what appears to be a problem.Hangin' with Mike and SulleyDo these count?Mike and Sulley want in on the MONSTER watch actionAll in all a great weekend.
From Wired:In the current issue of Forensic Science International, the team led by James F. Carter and Richard Sleeman concluded that there is no meaningful relationship between where a bill came from and the type or amount of drug residue is on it.As a basis of comparison, they added a clever trick to their test.On each trip to the bank, one of the researchers would note the arm on which he was wearing his wristwatch. The statistics showed that the arm he wore his watch on had as much of a bearing on the pattern of drug residue as where the bills came from. The scientists rationalized that since bills are circulated quickly, their geographic origin is totally unrelated to how contaminated they are. Thus, if someone gets caught with a stash of drug money, they can no longer blame the above-average levels of residue on the hood where they got it.
I have an AP watch with no model, the only thing I have is in the back of the watch there is a print B57672. Please see attach picture. Is it worth it to buy it for $2000? Is it real? Any help to tell if it's real or not is very much appreciated
