- This is the style watch that I have wanted for a while. I am not disappointed! It looks great on the wrist and is easy to put on. Once it is buckled you just slip your wrist in and away you go! LOVE IT !!

Franck Muller 1000 SC wrist watches news:
Although I couldn't take pics I was able to try on the DDII in both WG and PT. The WG had a silver with diamond marker dial. The PT had Glacier Blue with Diamond Marker. The size, for me, was perfect!!! I was truly amazed and how great the proportions were on my wrist. The Smooth bezel is NOT rounded, it's more of a squared off step style bezel and although it doesn't look as nice as the smooth bezel it works well with this watch. The dial looks larger, and again, in proportion with the rest of the piece. The traditional fluted bezel was on the WG version and would be my choice. The diamond markers are a nice touch and not blingy at all...very classy without being over the top. I think that Rolex did a great job with the DDII and i'm waiting for a dealer to receive a catalog of all the dials to see what options are available. CheersChristiaan
I last bought a watch about eleven years ago. It's a nice enough quartz watch, but not something that would impress any watch person. Its bracelet finally started to fall apart this spring. Wondering about what to do about it, I figured maybe I'm entitled to a watch every decade or so. I walked into a jeweler's and asked to see what's available. There were a couple of watches there that I thought were rather nice. They were German, from Glash¨¹tte Original. The designs didn't immediately click, though I thought the numbers were a bit unnecessarily cute, for example and I felt the price was a bit extravagant too, so I walked out again, feeling pretty cheerful and liking the idea of German watches. I like German mechanical engineering and German design in general; it's matter of fact, functional, and well made. Besides which, everybody with any watch aspirations seems to have, or want, a Swiss watch.I made my way onto the Internet, wanting to find out if there were any other nice German
Hello everyone,Just wanted to share my newest watch, purchased today from the great AD in NC. I wanted a nice casual, "rugged", almost basic watch, and decided on Panerai. When I got my second Omega (Speedmaster Broad Arrow), I considered getting a Panerai, but just didn't really know anything about them. When I decided to get another watch, I went back and forth, and let me tell you, really struggled on going forward with getting this watch. I considered another Omega, but the two I have pretty much sum up their more casual collection (i.e., I wanted a watch that was noticeably different than my Omega's, and didn't want a dress watch). My poor Omega Planet Ocean (1st nice watch that wasn't a gift) will now be relegated to not being worn everyday - (the PO is an awesome watch btw) - I'll reserve it for whenever I wear black or gray I guess :)Anyway, the AD here gave me a fair deal...and also gave me a Panerai Buffalo strap, which they put on for me. Never really heard of buffalo hi
... and it has started! my first AP of the year and it's a pretty nice one I believe!upgrade to the RG15305!
After over 3 months I finally received the call from the AD that my Omega rubber strap and deployant had arrived. Strap is # 98000366...Has a very nice curved fit to the case....The deployant is # 94522033...Interesting design; the tail of the strap is next to the wrist....I am puzzled by the pricing, however. These are BNIB parts and the AD charged me a total of $450 for the both of them. Seems like a good deal, almost too good. But that was what he quoted, I accepted, and I paid. I am really happy with this strap and deployant.....
