Girard Perregaux 80200.1.11 wrist watches news:
hi gang,im bonding with my new acquisition and today we went to the range.shot my new ak. so far the watch has been a little blingy. it might not be an everyday daily wearer.cl
Hi Rik,if you have to choose one movement & design that in your opinion and your experience the easiest & the most comfortable to do the routine service of a mechanical watch ( ok, please not into another debate of necessary or not necessary to do the routine service) , then what wd be it ? and why ? many thanksPete J
While I try to decide between getting a new Sea-Dweller and a DSSD, I decided I had to fill another gap in my collection - the blue dial watch. I've always wanted a watch with a blue dial, but never had one.I've been lusting after the 42mm Titanium PO ever since it was introduced, and I finally had the opportunity pick one up. (Thanks to TRF trusted seller Mosco, what a great transaction!)I had tried it on a few times before buying it and loved it. A stout fellow indeed, the case is thick as everyone says, but in titanium it doesn't seem top-heavy because it is so light. I love the 8500 movement, and the blue of the dial and bezel is just beautiful, not to mention it has that liquidmetal coolness going on.But what good is a thread without pics? Here are a few I took in the light booth at work, and a few wristies from around the city this weekend. Say hello¡
Absolutely silly thread I know, but I'm bored. We all know the 6538 is the archetypal Bond watch, but of all the watches featured throughout the franchise which would you chose irrespective of price? My personal choice (and absolutely nothing to do with the embarrassingly lingering camerawork in Skyfall!)...
Has anyone on here bought one of these watches at Costco in the past? Omega is in the process of suing, see AOL headlines today!
