- After i ordered it I thought maybe it was an impulse purchase and thought I might want to return it after receiving it. I got it in the white and after putting it on I refuse to send it back! Nice watch for the price.

Badollet is a brand that is not very well-known but has been quietly gaining recognition for this particular piece, the Ivresse, which I had a chance to see being made at their atelier in La Vall¨¦e de Joux near Geneva. For those who do not know, Badollet is a young company, having started recently in 2006. The circumstances under which the company was born however are very interesting and speaks to the long history of Swiss watchmaking. ?Badollet in its current conception is a revival of an old company name. The original Badollet was a company that was started by Jean Badollet in 1655, the first of an unbroken line of watchmakers all the way to 1924. ?Some of the highlights of the Badollet watchmaking dynasty include the publication of "L'Excellence de L'Horlogerie" by Jean II Badollet in 1689 and the fact that?Jean-Jacques I, another descendant, supplied parts and finished watches to?Abraham-Louis Breguet in Paris. The company closed in 1924 having been affected by the outbreak of World
I first saw these about 2 years ago...I liked. Recently I started a search to find the H77615333 and H77635333. Calling through Hamilton's dealer list has been a experience. Many relay the model isn't showing on their list so no info is available. Those that do, order to delivery time is in months. :( The gray market has them but I'm not a gray market buyer so it pains me to see them stateside but just out of reach so to speak. I enjoy the hunt though with this watch, the time devoted to track them down isn't proportional. Wife says forget it but you know that feeling...Once you start there comes the satisfaction to finding it. For a $7XX watch...
Could anyone tell us a few words about ETA movements ?Is there any clasification of the generic ETA movements?Could we find the same ETA movement in an expensive watch and a quite cheap watch at the same time? (sic!) - (i better say:showing the same time?). Examples are welcome to be shown uphere.Could we find real ETA movements in fake watches? Why sometimes fake watches costs more that some nonfake ones?If the moderator thinks it's better to separate the questions for separate discussions it's ok.
